ABOUT US AND HISTORY
Parents in the Liverpool area are met with frustration when the Local Authority refuses to fund a proven therapy for the autistic children.
Local parents have embarked on the project: FOCUS Liverpool to set up a Saturday School for local parents and children to provide training for volunteer therapists interested in behavioural therapy and to teach the children valuable social and academic skills.
We are currently enrolling children and potential therapists who may be interested in behavioural therapy. The training for therapists is free for people within the Liverpool LA. Training is for anyone who is directly involved in the implementation of a child's program. Click here to volunteer.
We hope that we can offer this support across Liverpool and hopefully expand the project and maybe even put some pressure on the local authority by showing the need for this.
The project is been overseen by a Marianne Wooldridge and Katy Lee - both are fully qualified Board Certified Behaviour Analysts.
Click here to register your child for the 12 week Saturday Club. Due to the amount of interest we wanted to accomodate more children and in order to do this we have had to change location we are now at Lister Steps Nursery, Lister Drive, Tuebrook, Liverpool L13 7HH. We may be running the programme again soon. Click here to register your interest.
