WHAT DOES THE 12 WEEK ABA PROGRAMME INVOLVE?

The 10 week ABA program involves teaching skill acquisition programs (functional communication, imitation, academic, social skills etc) by using his motivation and interests to create fun opportunities to learn new skills.  You will learn to use data collection in order to track and display improvement.  Once complete we can help you find tutor work with families.

We are looking for psychology / early childhood students for voluntary experience with a range of children who has autism.   You would be working on a 1:1 basis and will be overseen by a fully qualified Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, two experienced supervisors and a Group Lead.

You will be required to volunteer every Saturday for 10 weeks from the hours of 9.30-2.30. Volunteers will also be expected to attend an interview, complete a DBS check and attend the training courses.

There is no charge for the training. Children will be taught valuable social and academic skills using the principles of ABA.

Delegates need to attend the training course and the whole 10 week cohort for their certificates.
